Civic & Voluntary Awards Coverage
Celebrating Civic Leadership & Local Recognition
One World Many Voices is deeply committed to celebrating local leadership and civic pride across the borough. We have proudly provided professional multi-camera live-stream coverage and event videography for Rochdale’s premier recognition ceremonies.
This includes partnering to broadcast the prestigious annual Rochdale Diversity Awards hosted by KYP Rochdale, as well as capturing the inspiring stories of dedicated local volunteers during the King’s Voluntary Service Awards at Deeplish Community Centre. Alongside our dynamic live video mixing, our team utilizes professional camera equipment to capture high-resolution photography, preserving these defining civic moments for community archives and partner promotions. This experience has also strengthened our understanding of the importance of recording the people and stories behind Rochdale’s community life.
NHS Health Seminars & Public Wellbeing
Bridging Health Disparities Through Accessible Public Broadcasts
Accessibility and health equity sit at the core of our mission. To support disadvantaged and vulnerable residents who face barriers to attending physical venues, we produce and broadcast vital educational health awareness seminars. In close collaboration with our NHS partners, we have recorded and streamed comprehensive sessions covering cardiovascular diseases, diabetes management, long COVID, asthma education, dementia support, bowel cancer awareness, and essential basic life support training. Through these broadcasts, we ensure critical public health messaging reaches deep into the community, supported by professional audio mixing and clean presentation visuals.
Cultural Milestones & Community Celebrations
Preserving Heritage and Connecting Neighborhoods
Documenting local heritage and major cultural milestones is essential to preserving Rochdale’s rich community fabric. We have had the privilege of capturing historic community landmarks, such as Deeplish Community Centre’s 35th-anniversary celebrations and their annual playscheme awards recognising youth achievement. Our community heritage work extends beyond individual events. We also document the people, places, traditions and experiences that have contributed to Rochdale’s diverse community history. Our existing experience in filming, interviewing and preserving community stories provides a strong foundation for our wider heritage work.
